IT&T joins Summertown Choral Society for Handel’s timeless Coronation Anthems, composed at the accession of George II in 1727, and Haydn’s Missa in Angustiis (“Mass for Troubled Times”), which, through a string of coincidences surroundings its first performance in 1798, became indelibly associated with Horatio Nelson’s victory at the Battle of the Nile, earning the nickname “Lord Nelson’s Mass”
