Instruments of Time and Truth
Miriam Allan Soprano
Christopher Bucknall Director
IT&T explore the kaleidoscopic ways in which English Baroque musicians responded to their own art, with favourites of the repertoire such as Purcell’s Ode “Welcome to all the Pleasures” alongside extraordinary lesser-known works including several written for performance in Oxford at the time, some of which may not have been heard for over 350 years.
The project will feature a consort group of young singers from Oxford’s universities joining professional concert soloists and instrumentalists for the performance.
If you are interested in joining the student consort, check out the full details here.
IT&T is grateful for the support of Continuo Foundation towards the costs of this project.
Tickets are available online from Tickets Oxford; over the phone on 01865 305 305; or in person at the Oxford Playhouse Box Office
